The momentum began with IPL and is now amplified to ICC Cricket World Cup. The first World Cup was organized in England in June 1975 and the history is repeating itself. ICC has announced the full schedule and fixture list of Cricket World Cup 2019 which will be taking place in England from 30th May to 14th July 2019. 11 different venues across England and Wales will host the 48-match long tournament and the final will be played at the iconic stadium of Lords in London. The tournament will be a single group round-robin event where 10 teams will play against each other making it 45 group games. Top four will qualify for semifinals leading to the big final.

Morning of 4th March, 2019 is really great for cricket lovers from all around the world, as they woke up to a news they always wanted to hear for the sake of love they have towards this sports. According to the Olympic Council of Asia, Cricket is all set to return at the Asians Games. Cricket has been re-included in the 2022 edition of the sports programme, which will take place in Hangzhou.
